In the latest Best Buy Musical Instruments campaign, 93 Rock invited listeners to play "Name that Riff" in-store AND online where the Grand Prize winner won:
A brand new Gibson SG guitar valued at $3,600 AND a trip for two to LA to see Pearl Jam at the sold-out concert on October 7th at the Gibson Amphitheatre IN the Gibson SUITE!

Heavily supported on-air, online, and on-site, this promotionally-enhanced campaign aimed to accomplish 2 things:

Provide a lifestyle-driven promotion positioned around the peak retail BACK TO SCHOOL timing
Align Best Buy Musical Instruments with Gibson Guitars to further establish credibility of the caliber of equipment available in at the Best Buy Musical Instruments Store

93 Rock played host to the "Name that Riff" game show in all Best Buy Musical Instruments Store locations in South Florida.

At each location, a BBMI guitarist played riffs from 10 or more rock songs. Contestants had to identify the artist AND song title to win a $50 Best Buy gift card AND a spot in the FINALS on September 12th for the Grand Prize.

Each promotion brought attention from around the store as contestants rang in on cowbells, splash cymbals, crash cymbals, and more!
